Video | Yelo League.. Al-Faisaly Snatches an Exciting Draw against Abha

Brazilian Luvannor Henrique led Al-Faisaly’s first football team to snatch a valuable 2-2 draw against their hosts Abha, in the opening of their journey in the Yelo League for First Division clubs, on Thursday, at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Al-Mahala.

Abha faced difficulty from the start after Manaf Abu Yabis was sent off in the sixth minute following a VAR review. Despite being a man down, the team managed to end the first half ahead with a goal from Dutch player Sila Sow in the fourth minute of added time.

At the start of the second half, Abha strengthened their lead with a second goal signed by Luis Moor in the 51st minute, before Henrique ignited the match with a header in the 68th minute, reducing the gap. He then returned to score the equalizer from a penalty kick in the 83rd minute, giving his team an important point at the start of their journey.

Abha is preparing to face Al-Jablain away next Tuesday, while Al-Faisaly will meet their counterpart Al-Arabi on their home ground on the same day, in a clash where both teams seek to secure their first victory this season.
